looking for info on a marraige so I can get a maiden name the names are ronald french and thelma and addres for thelma they were married in plymouth apr or may or june 1944.he was in the merchant navy. they went to live in 16 lipson vale plymouth and were there in 1948 he was born 1 march 1917 they had 2 0r 3 children kenneth and ceinwen.

The only way is to look through the GRO index, for the marriage cert. Otherwise you could get the birth cert for one of the children.

Hi Janice Maiden name was Glover. Marriage ref is Plymouth, Vol. 5b, page 742. Q2 1944. Info from 1837online. Sam

Maiden name is Glover. If you want to buy the marriage certificate the reference is:- June qtr. 1944, Plymouth, vol. 5b, page 742 Kath. x

thanks for the maiden name of glover any way to find thelmas parents names or address she divorced ronald and took one of the boys brinly then we think she remarried and changed his name last known address in 1965 was the wheelwright arms luton in bedfordshire thanks everybody

Janice, I think the only way you could find out Thelma's parents names is to order her marriage certificate. Saying that, they only state father's names. Regards Helen
