I think Dublin was part of the UK in 1919. |

She could have been buried anywhere but nationality is irrelevant for registering a death. The death would be registered in the district where she died Lou |

So the death would of been registered in Dublin and not England, even though she was of English origin |

I would presume that the death would be registered in the district where the hospital was that she died in. Sharon |

Of course. All deaths are registered and they have to be certified in order to bury/cremate someone. nell |

My great great grandmother was an actress/singer. She was of british residence, London to be exact. But while performing on theatre in 1919 she collapsed on stage and later died in hospital. My question is, where would the death be registed? |
