Hi Crista, I still have my Dad - he will be 91 this year. Its just he talks more and more about those days in the RAF and I was hoping I could find some of his old comrades for him. No luck Im afraid. He tells me he was one of the oldest in his squadron, so I was hoping some youngsters of 80 or so may contact him.

Linzy, Found some more on the Goose Bay Air Force Brats site. http://www.goosebaybrats.org/c3.html It lists a Henry and Janet in 404 Oak Nehawka. www.intelius.*com had a 88 year old Henry E living with a 70 year old Janet. This must be Henry. Not sure what happened to Hazel. Could be they divorced and Henry remarried. Don, Mike and Bobbie listed are their children. There's an email address listed. Could try contacting that. Crista

Heather, Did you find your dad? Linzy, Will send the image now. Not sure the Henry listed in Nehawka is your one but he could be a relative because the surname isn't that common. I searched the Social Security Death records for Henry and Hazel but couldn't find either of them. Crista

Well, I found him in 1930. His father was Earl and his mother was Olive Keller. Using www.intelius.*com, www.people-data.*com and www.ussearch.*com it looks as though Henry E was last in Plattsmouth Nebraska. No sign of Hazel though. Using Anywho.*com Cuykendall, Henry 404 Oak, Nehawka, NE 68413 Cuykendall, Jim & Jenny 916 Pleasant Dr PLATTSMOUTH, NE 68048 Could try writing to those addresses. Crista

Hi, if you go on the forces reunited site on the BBC website you could leave a message there. I think it is called We'll meet again. I left one re my Dad (RAF) but an American contacted me about his dad as he had served in USAF Norfolk (where I live).

I have the certificate. Hazel M Outtrim married Henry Earl Cuykendall on 8th Dec 1945 at St Paul's, Oxgate. Henry was 28, with occupation listed as USA Air Force, and an address in Norfolk. Hazel was 22, and in the WAAF. Thanks !! Linzy

hello any ideas on how to track a GI? We think that my husband's aunt married an American with the USAF in 1945, and seeing as we can't find any trace of her in the UK, we're guessing she went back to the US. Where do we go next? Any hints very much appreciated. Linzy
