There are tons of genealogy books ranging from the virtually comprehensive (and v. heavy) Ancestral Trails by Mark Herber, to leaflets and pamphlets on a specific topic such as Wills. Most public libraries should have a good selection, so you can have a look through before writing your wish list! There's also an excellent bookshop at the Public Record office in Kew, and a small, but fairly comprehensive bookshop in the Family Records Centre. nell |

A lot of new comers to the site might like to know about some usfull books. So if you have any tips add to the list... The good web guide Genealogy (£9.99) and... The Genealogist's Internet(£10.99) both give comprehensive lists on relavent web sites |
