On 1901 census my Glos ancestors address was "8, The Village, Rendcomb". So I had a house number but no road! nell |

Just a thought, Misty. Are you absolutely sure that it's house numbers you are looking at and not household numbers? Street numbering in villages came in very late and sometimes not at all. B |

Hi...I have found some of my ancesters on the 1881 census..i have the right people in the right village but on the census it only says the number of the house not the street name...is there anyway i can find this out..would be glad of any help at all...thanks.. Ellen |
