If you look up Skewern on Genuki it tells you that it is part of Cadoxton - got these details below.....Neath Created 1st July 1837. Mainly in Glamorganshire, but included part of Breconshire. Sub-districts : Cadoxton; Glyncorwy; Llansamlet; Margan; Neath; Ystradgunlais; Ystradvelltey. GRO volumes : XXVI (1837-51); 11a (1852-1930). |

Does anyone know what district Skewen in Wales would come under. I think it could be Newport not sure. Any ideas? Fern. |
