Can any one help. I have bought a Belkin wireless ASDL router & combined modem, when you open the box you find guess what wires. You have to plug an ethenet lead in the back of the modem and connect this to the back of your computer, however because my system is a long way from the first telephone point this is not possible ,is there a modem/router that is completly wireless apart from the phone connection

Brian, We have BT Voyager wireless plus one wired socket. 2 Laptops, 2 PC's and Playstation all go through it from any where in the house. You can have up to 10 connections but bandwith gets affected if you have too many on at once. Don't know what we did without it. I don't us my network card on the pc just use a USB Wireless Adapter. The laptops just use PCMCIA plus in adapter. john

We too have the Belkin outfit. However we found it wouldn't work unless we downloaded Windows Service Pack 2. This we did, but then we found that other things were corrupted and wouldn't work properly. Anybody else come across this? Pauline - who doesn't really understand this too much, but knows there was a problem :-)
