Not unless it is a Scottish one. There is no way to see English or Welsh certificates without paying. Anne

There is a possible way: http://ukbdm.*corpex.*com/ (remove *) It used to be free, when it was camping on someone's servers for free, but it got seriously overloaded and ran "would you pay for better service" poll of users. The outcome is that it has moved, it costs £5 for 1year + 1 month, or £10 for 2 years + 3 months. You also get an extra day for every record you add yourself. It includes pre 1837 info as well. The idea is that you post up the info from certs you obtain so others can share; if you actually want to sell an unwanted cert, you just tick the relevant box so people will know that your cert is available to buy, not just to share info. There's no guarantee that anyone else has already acquired the cert you are after, so it may not be there anyway. They do not participate in any transactions: that is solely between seller & buyer. The site above is for unwanted certs. If it was possible to see the info from a cert online and download/print it I doubt if anyone would bother to order them. nell

It isn't only for unwanted certs, Nell. You don't have to part with the certs if you don't want to. Christine
