Morning All. I know this has been asked before but i cant find the thread. How do i go about ordering wills for people that died after 1890? Does anyone know how much they cost as well? Thanks, Claire |

Hi Claire, If you go to your homepage and scroll down there is a section called "getting started" it is explained in there far better than I can manage this time in the morning. Gwynne |

Hi, if you have managed to find the info on National Archives, you will see you can post your fiver off to York for a copy of the Will. Did you enter Wills in the search facility on this board? |

Hi Heather, Do you have the address in York? What do i do, do i just send them a letter saying what i want with a cheque for a fiver? I did search wills and saw something about this but no one put the address. Ive tried the national archives site as well but that is so complicated. Claire |

Hi again, I'm awake now. You need to send a cheque for £5 (made out to the paymaster general) to the York office along with the exact date and place of death - plus his/her full name at death. York Probate Registry Castle Chambers York YO1 9RG Gwynne |
