You could try Wokingham. Langley Common appears to be within the village of Barkham, which is in Wokingham RD. B

If you click on the link on the above site to the current register office it will take you to a site that has the address, phone number and sometimes e-mail addy with details about how to pay for certs etc. nell

This is the site I use. It's been very helpful www(.)fhsc(.)org(.)uk/genuki/REG/ (remove the brackets) Click on Index of Place names. The towns and villages are listed alphabetically. The center column shows the county and the right column shows the registration district. Once you have that, you can go back to Alphabetical List of Districts which will list all the towns, villages and subdistricts within a particular civil registration district. Add the site it to your "favorites" or bookmark the page for easy reference later on. Good luck Rose

anyone know how i find out what district a place is in?I need to know where Langley,Berks is and im hoping someone has an easy solution to this.Thankyou. amandax
