Desparate - please help!!!

I am desparately trying to find the marriage between Thomas Williams born c1826 and Catherine born c1835. They were both born in Marazion, Cornwall and went on to have a number of children - some of which had the middle name Hockin / Hocking. I think Ive added family members which are in fact not!!!! I have ordered one of their children's birth certs, in order to get Catherine's maiden name but can anyone help in the meantime???? Please help, thanks Juliana xxx

I think all you can do, without trawling the 1837 site for a possible match which could cost a fortune if you have no idea of the date, would be to check out the parish records a year or so before the birth of the eldest child.

First, I should wait for that birth cert, which will confirm Catherine's maiden name. With any luck, it will be a little less common than Williams, and that will help in narrowing down the options on 1837/FreeBMD. You'll also then be able to cross-check any possible marriage entries for both names, and hopefully you'll find them both on one volume/page.
