Hi Jeanette, I have just e-mailed the webmaster, again tonight. I recently replied to a message left in the guestbook, but I have not had a reply. I will also leave a message in the guestbook again and see what happens this time.

Hi Brian If I were you I would leave a strongly worded message in each of the guest books and also email the site too. When a message is left in the Guest Book a message is sent to the webmaster. There are also email addresses left by other poeple in the guest book. Why not try emailing them to see what experience they have had of the webmaster. jeanette x

No, it's not my e-mail address on the homepage as the webmaster, it's another Brian Swales. I did leave a message in the guestbook, unfortunatley it was BEFORE I became annoyed (to say the least!) with the site. I have tried e-mailing this Brian Swales but I don't get a reply.

Thanks All I've found it now but no matter what name I type in, it gives me results for people in America or Australia! Oh well... Brian I've just seen what you mean. I can see why you're ****** off...they've got your kids in there as well which is out of order Lou

I see what you mean now Brian. I was just looking at the Swale and Beer one name study tree. You appear to be in that one too! Is that your email address that is on YOUR tree? I would send an email to the bloke who has the other tree with you in it and find out if he has anything to do with it. I would email him anyway because he is showing your details. jeanette x

Hi Brian I have just gone onto tribal pages and typed your name in, and 2 of the trees on there is put on by Brian Swales and the other is Brian S Swales. They both have different email addresses, have you tried sending an email to one of those names. Are you sure you never put your tree on there a while back, as when I have just read this message I suddenly realised I had my tree on there. I had forgotten all about that site. Debbie

Jeanette - the tree in question is mine, but I haven't put it there ! ! I haven't uploaded anything from anywhere. I have sent a strongly worded e-mail to Tribal Pages but they have not replied.

Hi Brian I use Tribal Pages and love it! I was wondering if perhaps you had uploaded your tree to Gencircles or some other similar site. Anybody can download part of your Gedcom on there. I have 2 trees on Tribal pages. One is password protected so I decide who can enter it. The other is for everyone to view - I have removed the details of living people from this one. Are you able to enter the tree of this person? If so his email address should be on the Homepage. You can contact him there and ask him to remove you details and/or work with him on your family tree. If he refuses to remove your details, I suggest a very strongly worded email to Tribal pages. jeanette x

I've just had a look at the site and it looks pretty complicated. I couldn't even find the part that Brian must have used to discover that his name was in there cos I couldn't! Lou

Does anyone have any comments on Tribal Pages web site? It was suggested to me recently to have a look at the "Tribal Pages" web-site because my name was on it. When I logged on I was very surprised to discover that not only was I listed but also my parents and grandparents . . . in fact most (if not all) my family tree. However when I looked more closely I saw that although my name was spelt correctly most of my ancestors surnames were spelt SWALE. Looking further I saw Prince Frederick of Bohemia, Prince Charles Count Palantine, Prince Leopold Duke of Albany and even King Harold of England were listed on it ! ! ! Not only have I never seen this site before but I have not submitted any names to it, so how did all my family tree get there? I did e-mail the site asking these questions but as yet I have not had a reply. Does anyone know anything about Tribal Pages?
