Juliana, there have been many threads on this, if you enter ancestry in the search facility you can read them. YES, it is worth it. Most of the info you have received from the helpers on here (including all the stuff I produced a couple of weeks back on your family) has come from ancestry. It is well worth you subscribing. |

As Heather said, definitely yes, and you could search for the previous threads to find previous responses. Really good to be able to look at census images in your own home and have the satisfaction of finding them yourself. :) Joy |

I dont know if you can use switch, I used a credit card when I joined. What does it say on the site - is it one of the allowed cards? If not you can send a cheque - I remember someone else on here doing that. |

As far as I know you can pay by credit card and with a debit card that has a Visa symbol. They don't accept Switch Lou |

Ancestry is worth every penny I have spent. I love the site I am on it almost everyday. For my own research and other people lookups. They are always adding to it as well. I had to ring them once when I tried the US Census and wanted to discontinue the trial, they were brilliant. I have had no bother with them and besides this site I think it's the best value for money I have spent. I subscribe by the year the best way, and I will be renewing my sub when it comes up.
