Hi Pamela, all I know is that he was an oyster dredger. Hi Jacqueline, could you give the information for Henry Humphrey i.e. other people in the household as my ancestry is playing up. Thanks.

Hi, I'm in desparate need of help. I'm trying to find my great great grandfather in the 1871 census with no luck at all. Wondering if anybody could help me? His name is Harry Humphrey born May 8th 1854 in Whitstable, Kent. I believe he stayed in Whitstable all his life until his death in 1945. I have managed to find him in the other census with his wife Sarah Ann (Brett) and his four children. In the 1881 census he was listed under a different spelling (Humphry). Please help I'm hoping someone will have better luck. Fern Blackman.
