Margery is a name in its own right - my nan was a Margery not Margaret. No doubt derived from Margaret originally, though!

Carole Report 5 Jan 2005 21:13

Hmm, Margaret's found a Catherine Sarah M. Llloyd - wonder if the M stood for Margery? Annette: Do you have your parents marriage certificate by any chance, as that might help discover which Catherine it is likely to be?

Battenburg Report 5 Jan 2005 21:08

Carole Report 5 Jan 2005 21:00

There's a Catherine Lloyd listed but none with the middle name Margery - however, please note that the index is not yet complete so as it is not an unusual name this may not be the correct one. Please check further before ordering a certificate. Lloyd, Catherine 1907 September Pontypridd Glamorgan Mid Glamorgan 11a 687

Annette You will have to look on 1837online. Its a pay per view site. You will find the reference numbers to enable you to buy the certificates. You will not get the info without the certificate. See the Getting Started section on GR's home page. Just scroll down a bit. Margaret
