According to http://home*.clara*.net/dixons/Certificates/marriages*.htm remove * to use, dissolved means divorced. Marriages that were annulled (for non-consummation for example) were considered to have been invalid and the person's marital status would be recorded as spinster or bachelor. nell |

When Previous marriage dissolved is on a marriage license does this only mean it was a divorce or can there be any another reason. |
