Thanks, Anne. I have tried to locate any one of the Ambage family on the 1851 census but to no avail. I couldn't find the street and spent ages 'roaming' in the micro fiche. Then I ran out of time! Annie |

Did you find her on the 1851 census? The addresses on the death certificates would perhaps help. Quite a few of the death certificates I have are not registered by close relatives, but often friends or neighbours. Anne |

Can anyone help with this puzzle - I have Mary Ambage [nee Crabb] in Liverpool from 1839 to 1848 - her last known address being Ashton St, W.Derby. When her husband, John, and their 18 yr old daughter both died in 1852, the death certificates were signed by some one else and I can't find trace of Mary thereafter - even though her 10 year old son William survived. I've searched for death/remarriage and come up with nil. Any ideas of where to go from here? |
