Does 1837 take a long time to reply to e-mails re queries? I sent one about three weeks ago about missing images but no reply yet. Is this par for the course with them? Anybody know? Jean

It could possibly be 1: The Christmas period. Or 2: The high popularity of family tree researches. The GRO Website which deals with BMD certificates has an 8 week backlog. Regards Alan

Jean - I have e-mailed 1837 in the past regarding a problem I had with the images, I waisted A LOT of credits. They replied within a couple of days and refunded 100 credits. I couldn't complain at that!!

Thanks Brian, thats what I thought. Some months ago I had a similair problem and they did reply. I'm aware of the backlog and Christmas but still expect a reply. I not only reported it on the 'contact us' line (which they do say they don't respond to) but sent them a separate e-mail. I only have two credits left and reluctant to research any further at the moment or pay for any more until I get the existing problem sorted. Iwill wait a bit longer. Jean
