	There is a North West Kent FHS already in existence covering areas like Dartford, Orpington, Bromley and Sevenoaks with meetings in all these places. Website for more info:http://www.nwkfhs.org.uk Janet

	Hi Susan, It may be worth seeing if the Kent Family History Society have a local branch. I'm in several FHS and some of them have local branches within the society. They have charitable status so it's worth joining the main society and starting a local branch if one doesn't exist. It will save a lot of extra paperwork and admin and you will have access to what they already have. Gwynne
