Help! Kids' PC games...

PC was 3 years old in November...I think the memory is ok as the PC is 128MB and so are both the games...thanks for replying and I would be greatful for any other ideas. Thanks Kim |

might be the RAM MEMORY you need more than they say or wont play so check how much memory you have asked husband he builds them |

I have always prided myself on being relatively computer literate but CANNOT get my head around this! My 7 year old had 2 PC games for Christmas - Shrek 2 and Shark Tale Fintastic Fun, both by Activision. We have Windows ME and as far as my simple brain is aware; meet the minimum requirements for the games. Shrek 2 was loaded ok and will play the introduction, then crashes and ejects the CD. Shark Tale was loaded ok but will not go further than clicking "play". I have uninstalled & reinstalled, searched for clues on the 'net (but they were talking a foreign language!) and think MAYBE my graphics are not up to scratch... Can anyone help me in words of one syllable please??? Is there any easy solution or is my PC past it???? Will I have to buy a Gameboy after all?????????????? Thank you! Kim |
