British Columbia have a great BMD online - I found my aunt & uncle on it. It goes up to 1984, which was lucky for me as she died in 1983 aged 94! Unfortunately I haven't got the site address but put British Columbia and births marriages & deaths into google and you'll get it. Anne

Thanks Sylvia, i have tried that site but i couldn't find anything of relevance. I've got an inkling that they ended up in British Columbia.

Tracey You could try the National Archives Canada site to see whether they entered the country. You can just type in an surname and an approx year. If you've nothing else to go on it'll mean going thru pages and pages of passenger details but I found my Grandad and his 1st wife on there. Lou

The nationalarchivist*com site has passport applications up until 1903. I don't know of anywhere else where you can get them, or what their closure period is.

In about 1906. I have reason to believe that some rellies went there but i'm not sure how to find the info. I'm not even sure which part of canada they went to. They wer John and Kate Cartledge and family. Can anyone suggest anything please? Tracey x
