I agree with Irene. No need to thank anyone. I just wish I'd had Irene's common sense and put mine outside instead of blowing it out when I went to bed! Lou

Hi Why the thanks, I would do it anyway, my candle stayed alight for over 4 hours, put it in the garden and it didn't go out once. Irene

hi maureen, There were probably more than fifty people who lit a candle last night, as I lit a candle and said a prayer but didnt add a reply to your post. I think my reason for me not replying to your post was that I just dont know what to say, it is so upsetting. My dad knows a lot of people in sri lanka and cannot get in touch with any of them. My heart goes out all the victims and there family and friends. victoria xx

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE. A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO THOSE'S OF YOU WHO LIT A CANDLE LAST NIGHT AND SAID A PRAYER FOR ALL THOUGHS SUFFERING FROM THE DISASTER. SOMETIMES WE THINK WE ARE HARD DONE BY BUT SOMETHING LIKE THE TSUNAMI MAKES YUS REALISE JUST HOW LUCKY WE REALLY ARE. THERE WERE FIFTHY OF US LIGHTING THE CANDLES. THANK YOU. MAUREEN
