For a while I couldn't find death certs on Scotlands people even tho I had the pics of headstones so knew the dates of death. I have a huge amount of relatives from the Isle of Arran and had found many of them but not these ones. I had been using "Bute" as the geographic limit as Arran was in Buteshire. However, I found all the missing ones from Kilmory under Argyll! When you print out the cert it says "County of Bute" at the top, no mention of Argyll. So just incase anyone else has rellies in Arran....! Anne - very happy now!

Anne That's brilliant. I think I'm close to bringing one of MY brickwalls down too after James found me some very interesting info on the 1891 census last night. Just got to get a cert to prove my theory now and you can call me Sherlock Holmes! Lou
