There does not seem to be as much coverage of Scotland on CD-ROM perhaps because of the GRO website already having some censuses online. S&N seem to have plans to cover Scotland. http://www.genealogysupplies.*com/ Martin |

Thanks Heather, that's very useful - might spend my Christmas money on that! Anne |

Hi Linda and Anne The 1881 census including Scotland is available on disc from the LDS distribution centre in Birmingham and costs about £30. The telephone number is 08700 102051. Heather |

I think you can buy the 1881 census from the familysearch site (mormons), but I haven't checked that out myself, but I seem to remember someone here saying it cost about £30. I was watching this thread as I'd like to know too! It's very annoying that you have to pay to see the 1881 census when the rest of the country gets it free. Libraries have copies of it though. Sorry not to be more helpful! Anne |

Can anyone tell me where I can buy the census records for Scotland on C.D. rom? A website address, if you know of one would be helpful. Many thanks Linda |
