I have just come across a site that is great for a potted history of what was happening when our ancestors were around. You can also see what costumes they would have been wearing. http://www.ccma.ca/~(mbone/webtree)/history-gb.htm Take out ( ) Happy New Year. Tina.

Nell Never thought of that! I've inherited a large box of photos from my Dad which HE found when his parents died. We've only a vague idea of who is who in them but as you say, what they're wearing may help to narrow it down a little! Lou
