pamela found the 1881 census for me it says that john was the head living with his brother and sister no mention of his parents george and hannah weare had they both passed away by then

How old was John in 1901 so we can look further back and find him with family then we can look for a marriage for him

found out about george weare who married hannah thompson tart in 1851 but would like know to his fathers name also her fathers name if anyone can find this out can you please tell me how you did it p.s. they married in sedgley staffordshire

on the 1891 census there is a minnie weare but on the 1901 census she is no longer on there can anybody find out for me if she passed away what year and how thanks lynne

Hi I was intrigued and had a look on the Staffs (http://www.staffordshirebmd.org.uk/) & W Midlands BMD sites. W Midlands doesn't have anything for Weare, and Staffs only has marriages (1837-1995), but it has 12 in the Stoke-on-Trent & Newcastle-Under-Lyme districts. Some might turn out to be part of your family. good hunting! Christine

thanks jim i cant find the paper my dad wrote on it was the dates of the marriage of george weare and hannah tart i think they got married about 1826 in sedgley staffordshire i have looked into 1901 census for john weare and was succsesful

trying to find out anything about john weare born in bilston staffs. he married sarah e sorry dont know her maiden name his fathers name was george he married hannah tart anyone got any information on any of this
