Gerri, definitely don't give up. Great site with lots of people who are extremely helpful. If you ask for help people usual help if they can. I struggled at first and had to send for my mums birth certificate as I knew very little. Now I'm hooked. Good luck with your search. Denise

Thought Id be clever and apply for a birth cert of grandfather who's names and dob I already have....thinking that will give me HIS parents names!...This is what they say I need 1st...... You will need to supply the following information: Full name at birth Date and place of birth Full names of both parents Mother's maiden surname Reason for application I GIVE UP!!!!......not really ;)
