Help!

Natalie

I've stupidly entered wrong date when ordering a marriage cert. with GRO online. When I got to the shopping basket page it said 'Use buttons on the right to edit your order'. I can't see ANY buttons on the right! Am I going mad? Have not processed order yet, or given any credit card details, but every time I log off and log on again, the same order is still in my shopping basket. I seem completely unable to amend or delete the order. Any suggestions gratefully received! Many thanks! Natalie

Hi When you get to the "Basket Summary", it has a grid with these headings: Name on Certificate Certificate Type Number of Certificates No. Ref Checks Despatch Date (Est) Customer Ref Price Actions Underneath the last heading "Actions", it should have two "buttons" saying "edit" and "delete" against each row of your order. If you click on those it should allow you to do what it says - i.e. edit the certificate application or delete it altogether. Christine

Thanks for your reply Christine. I found the box marked 'Action', but there are no delete or edit buttons displayed in it. Clicking on empty box doesn't bring them up either! Will try again....in case I'm going mad!!! At least I know what I'm looking for now, so thanks very much! Natalie

Try emailing them, I made a mistake once, emailed them immediately and they very very kindly rectified it for me. Worth a try!

Which browser are you using? I usually use non-standard browsers, but I have found that some sites will only accept either or both of Explorer & Netscape. When I checked the info for you (you prompted me to get my act together to order some certs I'd been thinking of for some time!) I was using Netscape. Christine

Thank you, lovely people! I tried again this morning and the Edit & Delete keys were there, so I have placed my order! I really appreciated your help, as I was getting so frustrated and annoyed with myself! Many thanks! Natalie
