Sounds complicated Sue. I'm not the best person to ask but here's what I think Stick the floppy in disk drive A. Double click my computer on you desktop. double click 3and a half inch floppy (A). Than click on the file ending in exe and follow instructions. At some point you willl be asked if you want to change the name of the directory. If not it will be saved as TEMP. Well that's my reading of things. I'm sure somone will correct me if I'm wrong! Jeanette x

Just recieved the Lincolnshire 1861 disc I also have the disc for the names of the area but not sure what to do now I have put the floppy in the box and this comes up:- Your data has been compressed :- Place disk in drive ‘A’, select that drive Your file ends with *.exe - double click on that file and follow the onscreen instructions, when the screen shows the directory to unzip to, i.e. TEMP, you may change it to a directory of your own choice, i.e. C:\famhist can someone please tell me in easy to follow instructions. Sue
