Hi, The marriage between Sarah and Paul Swain is shown on FreeBMD, Dec Qtr. 1900 in Prescot. I note that the site was only updated 2 days ago, so they're probably new entries. Regards Mary

The only other site that has the BMD lists like FreeBMD (but is actually complete because its scanned all the GRO pages) is 1837online. It does cost and a full explanation of the website costs can be found on the following message (check contents at the top for 1837online pricing) http://www.genesreunite(d.c)o.uk/genesreunited.asp?wci=ThreadedBoard&bb_type=B&bb_orig_key=1762166 (remove brackets) Also trying searching this board and the Record Office board for any messages about saved pages from the 1837 site. A lot of people who have used the site have downloaded the page on which the info that they want is on. Each page contains many registrations and so you might get lucky! The other tip is to look for misspellings. Best of luck Sarah

G Grandmother Sarah Sherratt is on 1891 Census married to G Grandfather John Sherratt. On 1901 Census she is registered as Sarah Swain ' married ' (?) to Paul Swain who is now the Stepfather to her children. I can find no Death record of John Sherratt, no marriage record of Sarah Sherratt to Paul Swain and no Death record for Sarah under either name. Can anyone suggest where I look next. I have been using Ancestry and FreeBMD and Ancestryplus
