I know a Virginia who is called Ginny. Cissy could be short for Cecilia, but I've also heard of an Emily called Cissy, so who knows!!!??

Louise, Several John Baches got married in Toxteth. This must be this family: Marriages Sep 1895 Bache John Thomas Toxteth Park 8b 511 Daniel Mary Elizabeth Toxteth Park 8b 511 You have to get you G grandfather's birth cert to be sure. Ginny and Cissy don't appear to be Jane Brandeth or Mary Elizabeth by any stretch of the imagination. Crista

Louise I'd be cautious about assuming it's the right family cos it seems like a good match. I made that mistake and spent 6 months tracking the wrong family. The area and the surname may be the same but the children's names and the wife's name don't really add up. I think you need to get hold of one of the children's birth certificates or try to find a marriage between the parents and be certain that her name was Mary. Lou
