A good friend, not blessed with 'ooter, has asked me to see if i can find sone of his rellies.. The problem is ,the street name that he gave me do'nt exist nay more. Its called LEBANON STREET< WALWORTH> I think thats SE17. Question!!! where can I locatea map with said street, and where should i look for records covering said housing and families. They lived there around 1945- 1950's name of LEGGETT. Any help gratefully recieved

Fatal mistake Steve, telling people you are doing genealogy. They all expect you to knock out a 12 generation tree in a weekend. You can google search for maps of the area - try multimap. I can only suggest trying electoral registers or telephone books and never mention your talent to another soul!

Hi Steve Ask your friend if they would like you to put a message on the trying to find board. Ask permission to post grandparents and anything else known and maybe we can get back to 1901, bit of long shot though without certs. Heather is right! Best wishes Amanda
