Lucia Is it for Births Marriages & Deaths you are looking for in Staffordshire? Whereabouts in Staffordshire are you looking? Anyway these are ones I use from time to time. http://www.rootsweb(.)com/~engsts/ http://www.census-online(.)com/links/England/Staffordshire/ http://www.genuki(.)org.uk/big/eng/STS/ http://www.freesurnamesearch(.)com/search/uk/sts(.)html Please remember to remove the brackets first. Hope they are of help to you. Pat x

Amanda like Lucia you do not say what part of Staffordshire you are looking? Obviously it's a big place and it can be of help to know exactly where you are looking. Pat x

Hi Pat, Sorry I'm looking for Lower Gornal, one of the nine villages of Sedgley, my lot are Nailors by trade. I have them back to 1851, they are my ggg grandparents but that's where I get stuck as I can't find their marriage, but 2 children are on the IGI pre 1851, but the mother is Ann Hobson nee Parker. I was looking for a Nancy Hobson nee Parker, but I think she is the Ann on the IGI. My GG Gran was registered as Hopson in 1854, I will have to order one of the elder children's birth certs to see if it helps. Thank you for asking, can I help you at all? Best wishes Amanda

Hi All I too have loads of family in Staffs, and would recommend that you try A2A and also the Staffordshire Records Office (just google for both). I've found loads of stuff on both sites and found that Staffs Records Office will send you copies of the info that you find at a very reasonable price. I just typed in my ancestors name and came up with a number of hits on both sites, which all turned out to be linked:-) Give it a try Regards Bev X
