I went into my nearest store today with the voucher out of the paper. It was priced at £29.99 and I got it for £14.99 Strangely enough the next version with 12 discs was only £5 more at £34.99. I was tempted to get this but was good. Diane

We were going to go to pcworld tomorrow to get one. Just been on the website and it's showing at £19.99 but not available. poo it was this morning when I looked. Couldn't go today, should have ordered it this morning. I'll have to try and see if the branches have any. Diane

I wouldn't think it's worth upgrading from Standard to Deluxe. My deluxe edition was only £4 more than standard, and it comes with some additional discs - some of which are empty! Somebody mentioned this the other day, and I only got mine for Christmas, so I will have to sort it out later in the week. But if you haven't already got FTM, then £19.99 is a very good price and it's a highly recommended program. Mandy :)

Just tried to buy online - spent half an hour going through their ordering process, only to be told on finally submitting the order that the product is unavailable due to high demand!

I was going to try it until I read a thread on soc.genealogy.britain in the newsgroups - it seems it wants admin rights on the PC and compromises the security of the PC - Didn't follow the thread too far but decided not to purchase FTM2005 -

I think the deluxe gives you some cds and a complimentary couple of months ancestry membership doesnt it? Im sure someone on here has it and they will be able to tell you.

They have FTM 2005 Deluxe edition for £19.99 at PC world until tomorrow. Or you can get it online. I have the standard edition so I am tempted to upgrade to this. Is it worth it?? Diane UPDATE: They have it on the website again at £19.99 just for today
