I am trying to find the Court Records regarding the murder of my grandmother Emma Grace (nee Grigsby) by Anna Neary in 1951. Can anyone help please? Merry Christmas to you all

The Local Family records Office for the area are may be able to help you, they should also hold local paper syou can look through. If it went to court ask the local Police office. I take it you have the date so that will narrow it down for you. The PRO at Kew holds a lot of information but I don't know whether that will help you. If you find out let us know as I am sure a lot of us would be please to know this information. Good Luck Happy Christmas and New Year Irene

I'd start by getting the local paper report of the crime. It will probably have details about the preliminary hearing and in turn that should give a date for the trial to make it easier to find. Not sure whether it will be open to the public though as it is less than 100 years ago. nell
