Thank you ladies you are very kind that info is a start on my father's mother's line can't follow father's father's line as he moved to england from god only knows where But Many thanks to you both

If it is only a "maybe" as Lambeth, then there is a birth registered: 1852 Sep Pancras 1b 91 Good luck Jan

Hi Barry I have found:- Thomas Carter December 1852 Chelsea 1a 117 Thomas George Carter June 1853 Stepney 1c 450 Thomas Carter June 1853 Shoreditch 1c 95 I would imagine that the Chelsea one is the more likely but in this "game" you never know! Good Luck Janice

you know how it is you get a bit of info and you NEED to follow it Just found out My GT grandad was Thomas Carter born 1852/3 in Lambeth looking for birth cert it could wait but I am desperate And at work
