John - I thought about it, but as I didn't know the name of the website, I didn't think I'd find anything. Helen - I can't remember what its called, but that could be it!

Thanks Crista but its not the 1881 census website. What I remember about it is that you put in your ancestors , with details of the census they had been on (such as page, folio etc). What the website would do was try and find matches between subscribers and it was thought to be more accurate... Does this make any sense to anyone?

I can't believe I'm so daft as to have not saved the URL for this website! A while ago I signed up on this website where you put 1881 census details of your family in and it looks for matches. Does anyone else remember this site?
