you can search the 1841 census yourself on www(.)freecen(.)org(.)uk - remove brackets. Please bear in mind that the entire 1841 for midlothian is not on there.

I'm trying to confirm some info. from I.G.I. about a family in Scotland (Edinburgh) c1760-1800. I've found several from SP but one important couple don't appear in their index. Am I likely to find any Scottish BMDs on Ancestry that aren't on SP ?? The couple are "... Peter Graham(e) gentlemans servant of Bristo street and his spouse Margaret Dalgleish..." Their eldest child was born in Edinburgh St. Cuthberts 1784 and youngest in 1792. Thanks, Cath.
