Member Since: January 0001 Posts: 0 Send Message	Local councils have records of municipal graveyards - and some are searchable online. Google to find. Church burial grounds records should be in the local records office and you can find details sometimes of holdings on http://www.a2a.org.uk/ which is how I found out Norfolk Records Office had a plan of the village graveyard where my gt grandparents are buried. nell

Member Since: November 2002 Posts: 4 Send Message	A lot of the older churchyard's do not have plot number and maps. Best to ask the vicar if it's a village churchyard or if it's a large town cemetery contact the relevant council and ask for parks and cemeteries dept Good Luck ! Margaret

	Try the local council to the area, cemetery dept, if you google it it should give you a contact number or e-mail, I have found them to be very helpful If the grave is in a church try the vicar, warden etc.
