If you have no idea of the year it will be an expensive search unless you can get to the FRC or a library with the BMD indexes. If it's really important you could buy credits for 1837online.

When was his last child born? BMD doesn't cover 1920s and later yet. So you'll have to look through GRO lists on fiche or 1837. What a good feeling when you find it after trawling through quite a few quarters!!

I have been trying to find my Grandfathers Death? Where would it be I Have ask on threads Look on 1837 bmd indedx?? He was 28 in 1924 married in oxford Frederick Henry Parrott Any sugestions would be appeciated Thanks Sandra
