Can anyone tell me if there's any difference between signing up for Ancestry UK and Ancestry USA's UK & Ireland Collection? I ask because the US site does a 2 week free trial and wondered if the UK one has more information on UK people than the US one or vice versa. Many thanks, Trevor.

I don't think there is any difference apart from the price.

The UK one will also do a 2 week free trial, and if you only want UK results this would be a better option...
