The trouble is Juliana, now you have info coming out of your ears. It may be worth putting a lot of this stuff into files and just concentrating on the people you really want to find! You can come back to the extended family at a later date.

No, she seems quite lucky as the family seemed to have not moved far from their birthplace. I wouldnt mind doing that lot instead of mine!

Don't envy you tracing WILLIAMS! My mother's maiden name - when I went to trace her father's medal record, there was nearly a whole drawerful of Williamses at Kew! nell

Yes, i think the marriage was the right one- thank you so much!!! Don't think that is the same MARY as she was born in 1865 and would be 33 in 1891, at the time of the census. But dont imagine there could be that many LAITY, so am gonna try and trace them!!! Thanx so much, Juliana x

Name Age in 1891 Birthplace Relationship to head-of-house Civil parish County View Image Laity, George V 5 Cornwall Son Sithney Cornwall Laity, Joseph C 5/12 Cornwall Son Sithney Cornwall Laity, Mary A 28 Cornwall Wife Sithney Cornwall Laity, Mary J 8 Cornwall Daughter Sithney Cornwall Laity, Mary S 29 Cornwall Daughter Sithney Cornwall Laity, Norina 3 Cornwall Daughter Sithney Cornwall Laity, William 2 Cornwall Son Sithney Cornwall Strike, Elizabeth 75 Cornwall Mother Sithney Cornwall There are even more Laitys in that parish! PAM, I am pretty sure you were right on the marriage, well done. There is just so much info now that really Juliana could be busy for days on this one and make a lot of progress as the families involved seemed to stay pretty well put in Cornwall. I even found a Julianna Halse, Juliana!

Didnt you say that they all came from Marazion? This lot of Laitys are there too in 1891 - may be related Laity, George 42 Cornwall Head Marazion Cornwall Laity, George T 7 Cornwall Son Marazion Cornwall Laity, Marian 5 Cornwall Daughter Marazion Cornwall Laity, Mary 40 Cornwall Wife Marazion Cornwall Laity, William J 3 Cornwall Son Marazion Cornwall Have a look at the censuses as you did before when you found Martha. Keep all the bits of info on people who may be related like this lot and the Elizabeth Borden?? who was visiting from Cambourne. It will all come together at some point. It may be that George Halse's sis married into the Laitys? Cant remember her name?

Juliana, you could look at the census for Cornwall again. By the way, didnt Martha have a surname as a second name - Hockin wasnt it? You may find that is her mothers maiden name. But you have Martha and George's marriage details now so you can get the cert with that.

Hiya, in the midst of tracing my tree, have found out that my GG grandmother's maiden name was WILLIAMS. She was born MARTHA H WILLIAMS in 1867, she had 4 siblings, THOMAS 1861, WILLIAM 1863 ELIZABETH 1859 MARY 1865, any suggestions on where I could find info on these. One of her sisters may have married a LAITY?? Many thanks, Juliana x
