Does anyone know how I'd go about researching former Police Chief Superintendent? I have found a couple of ancestors who were, but have no idea about how I'd find information about them. Any help much appreciated. |

If he was in the Met, the records will be at Kew. Other police forces keep their own archives, or they may be at the local records office. Info about this is in TNA leaflet below, which also gives contact details for Derek Wilcox, who has his own index to police officers.
