I had problems tonight importing my ged file on to here. Had done it before no problem but this time it kept saying there was no name, date match etc. When i looked at my details all but my name had been deleted when the tree was - hence the no match. Ack! Took me a while to suss that out. lol |

Hi Sophie, had exactly the same problem tonight myself. Contacted GR but no response yet. However, I've sorted it. Is the message also telling you (apart from the error) that no-one in your GED matches the owner of the Genes tree? PM me if you haven't sorted it yet. Jan |

You have to make sure that the Gedcom file you create with PAF uses the 'ansi' type file. When you click on export file in PAF, choose other Gedcom 5.5 and character set 'ansi'. That should do it I think. |

I have my tree on PAF 5 (Family Search) and thought I would import it to GC. However every time I try and do it I get an error message from Happy Genes Connected. Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong? Thanks Sophie |
