I have no idea how to progress

Hi, The next step is searching parish records. The LDS have filmed a lot of parish records and you can "hire" them to view at any LDS centre. You should maybe search for the marriage first in the parish where the children were baptised or where they claim to have been born on census. Gwynne

I have traced th eLovatt branch of my family in Staffordshire back to 1810 with John Lovatt. I have the details of his father's and mother's name (no maiden name) they are William Lovatt and Ann. I have no further details of their marriage etc. Can anyone suggest how I can progress further with this? Since it is back in the end of the 18th century I fear it will be quite tough and since I don't live in the UK I don't know what to do. Any tips would be greatly appreciated Thanks Pamela
