Hi Veronica, I'm still undecided as I know quite a few rellies emigrated to America so thinking I'll go for the whole shebang seeing as the dollar rate against the £ means I'll only pay £98 just now. I tried to sign up for the free trial but it won't let me due to the fact I don't have a credit card so I'll need to talk nice to my mum next time I see her. Lucky you having snow, I love the snow at this time of year. We had some sleety snow on Friday night in Kilmarnock, Scotland but it never came to nothing.

Hi, sorry to hijack this thread but I was wondering as you obviously all use Ancestry if you could recommend which package to choose for subscription. I am fed up with the expense of Scotlands People and have found that the majority of ancestors came from Ireland in the 1800's. I have only been doing my tree for a month and think I have easily spent in excess of £100 just on Scotlands People. I think therefore the next step is Ancestry and due to the dollar rate being so low against the £ just now I don't know whether to pay for the super subscription or the One Tree subscription. Any advice would be much appreciated, ta. Kathryn.

Linda I have never in a nearly a year of subscribing had to sign in or use my password. I saved the page in my favourites and whenever I go onto the site its saved with all that done and as I always manually take off cookies I always have there's on my computer. Good Luck Pat x

Linda I have problems with it quite regularly. If you log in and out again that often helps or you can request your password again and start from there. They are usually quite quick. Sheila

Lesley When you did your sub did you not get an email confirming? In the email there should be a link for you to to start with user name and password. You cannot start to use the site unless you have this done. Pat x
