MY GREATGRANDFATHER - EMIL DORN - WAS BORN IN A PLACE CALLED INTERBORG/INTERBOG?, BAVARIA. HE MARRIED MY GREAT GRANDMOTHER IN ENGLAND IN 1892. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF THIS AREA OF GERMANY AND IF SO HOW CAN I TRY AND FIND HIS BIRTH CERTIFICATE. |

Have same problem , only mine was born in Prussia , now part of France. Don't think there are any on line databases but someone else may Know more! Kim |

PS Alsace / Elsass is the bit that normally swaps between France and Germany - where Strasbourg and Metz are. Christine |

Bavaria is on the Swiss Austrian border and the town is proble Innsbruck. Prusser is in northen Germany On the Baltic coast |

Innsbruck sounds plausible. Prussia is harder to define, it covers a lot of country, different bits at different times !
