Am I missing something or is it no longer possible to search with a middle name plus surname? That's not very helpful. |

On which site are you meaning, Peter? Do you mean the new search facility on this site? Lou |

I do indeed mean the Name search at this site. Its URL now ends /genesreunited.asp?WCI=Searchres - and there is no middle name field. Until a day or two ago, it was still possible to use the original search facility at /genesreunited.asp?WCI=Search - but now I get an error message when searching for anything through this page: HappyGenesReunited error '800a9c68' Application-defined or object-defined error /genesreunited.asp, line 13 The option to include a middle name in a search is particularly useful for me, as I have some relatives with the (common) surname Hall who all have the middle name Smith. Regards, Peter. |

Peter I agree with you. I did a name search the other day and found the 'new way' a lot more long-winded and when I did eventually come up with a possible name match, it took me ages to work out how you e-mail the person who placed the name in their tree. Maybe I'm just a techno-phobe but I found the old way easier Lou |
