Im trying to find Samuel Unsted born 1790 and died 1869. He would of been 71 in 1861 and married to Elizabeth On the copy of his will entry he is in residence at Wilmington but he may have been in the Alfriston area as well. Would it be possible for someone to see if they can find him? Thanks |

Hi Amanda Sorry cannot help with census but did you know that he married Elizabeth BURGESS in Wilmington on 1st Jul 1811 and he was from West Dean. Regards Chris |

Found Samuel Unsted (Senior) at Wilmington aged 70 ag lab with Elizabeth also 70. Next door were Samuel Unsted (Junior) 30 carrier, Frances 30 b. Alfriston and Catherine 4. Just along the road at the parsonage is Sophia Unsted 13, underhousemaid. 1861. Hope this helps. |

Also found Samuel in 1841! Samuel Unsted 51 Ag lab Elizabeth 51 Sophia 24 Mary 13 Samuel 11. At Wilmington. |
