Thanks, I`ve already deleted all the children thinking I was doing the right thing, so I suppose if I put the children back again, but change the mothers name, hopefully that should be ok?? Oh what a mess I`ve got myself in!!!

If you just need to change the name, dates etc, you don't have to delete it. You can just edit it so right names and dates appear....... I did this, as I made the same mistake as you with my hundreds of James's !! Andrea

Hi, can anyone help please. I had made a "cockup" with a couple on entries, I hd mixed one of the ancestors Emma and Emma Isabella For Emma I was inserting the husband & children of Emma Isabella, so thought I`d corect this today, so deleted all the children, then thought, ok now I only need to delete the husband, NO CAN DO I am finding that I will have to back through quite a number of the family and looks like almost starting over again!!! what am I doing wrong, is there some way I can just make a simple correction without have to go through sucha a palavar?? All I want to do is show the correct wife & husband with children. Should I just go ahead and put them in anyway nore the previous errors? any suggestions please??
